ADM/H and OC32NG

Hallo

I would like to try ADM / H with 0C32 / NG; to work a turn out; could someone help me to set ITRAIN (4.07)
I try with 2 output; ( 1.1 , 1,2;) one for each side ; but only one side works

The current setting is :

Direct way 1.1 ‘0’ 1.2’1’ 0 volt
Deviated way 1.1’1’ 1.2’0’ 10 Volts OK

where is the mistake

Thanks for your help

Hallo "Tanarg",

please explain ADM/H. I guess you mean ADM/FH, the Full H-Bridge? Is this for Kato turn outs? How did you configure the port on the OC32 and how did you set up iTrain?

Regards
Frans

Hallo Frans

yes its for ADM /FH ; to use a turn out motor like LEMACO or LEMATEC

DC motor that works in both directions with end-of-stroke contacts

other precision; for peripheral output I use OM32 before I go through PM32
to have 2 exit address.
The outings of OC 32 are working well; I tested without ADM / FH with diodes;
the configuration works well
I understand that for the H bridge the two outputs must not be active at the same time

Thanks

Hi HM tanarg,

A name to talk to would be appreciated.

OM32 and PM32 are completely different products. Addressing these from iTrain while you use an OC32 won't work. You may use 'OM32Serial', but I would not recommend it in this case.
The recommended way is to address an OC32 module from iTrain.

In the OC32 configuration you should be able to use the 'turnout-pulse' standard device for this.
Yes, you need to make sure that 2 consecutive outputs are not driven sumultaneously when an H-bridge is used. If you use the turnout-pulse devicedefinition this should not happen anyway. For improved security it is highly recommended that you set (and write) the hardware configuration (OC32Config tab General) to sink+source for the respective bank(s). In that case the OC32 will prevent this from happening even if your control software should instruct otherwise.

Best regards,
Leon

Hi Leon
Thank you for your reply; I now think it's essential to use 'Aspects' with OC32 / NG; on the window (OCdevice configuration); there is a 'turnout continuous' option that must be used to control a turnout with an CCmotor like the LEMATEC with ADM/FH I think;
I am trying to translate the manual (OC32 configuration manual) into French; Unfortunately, there is no OC32 'workshop' in French at present;
if I could have a screencopy of OCdevice configuration with the right parameters it will help me a lot

Best regards,

HM
